Our Philosophy Glen Arbor School provides quality childcare to young children of working families and parents that are in job training, students, and low income families. We provide a developmentally appropriate pre-school program following California State guidelines for Kindergarten readiness, with a special focus on reading and literature. We provide breakfast, and two well balanced snacks per day, as well as lunches for those without. We offer grocery and paper supplies once a month for low-income or in-need families with the help and support of Second Harvest Food Bank. We provide daily aid positions, evening cleaning jobs, and provide our families with a list of jobs that can be done in exchange for childcare. We provide social events to encourage communication interaction. We hold parent/teacher conferences each year to assess and evaluate each child's progress in our program. We are a Human Care Alliance (HCA) Member and Professional Association for Childhood Education (PACE) Member.
